Prescreened Referrals Questions & Answers
1. What is a referral guide?
Businesses that are researched on line with the local Better Business Bureau. A1 Referral then packages these listings, providing the consumer with the service provider and phone number. When available, a contact name, email/ web address are provided.

2. So what businesses are listed?
Businesses that have a physical address, (special conditions apply) and a satisfactory posting.

Satisfactory doesn't always mean... no customer complaints. Your researcher will make sure that the establishment has no complaints on their reliability report in the last 36 months/3 years.

We might also add that some Better Business Bureaus website's 'grade' their members/non-members. We will only list businesses with A and B ratings.

3. What businesses are not listed?
Businesses that have no physical address, (special conditions apply ) have failed to reply to Better Business Bureau corresponsence, have an unsatisfactory notation, and have no negative feedback attached to their reliability report.

4. How often will you review the listings?
Every 6 weeks.

5. Should I still ask for references?
Yes.

6.How can I be assured that the listings are good?
There is no guarantee, however, be assured that if a business has a complaint, it's more than likely happened within a short period of time.

Consumers who purchase a membership package, will receive monthly updates, Free introductory listings, will be updated online every 6 weeks. Please review as needed.

7.How long should I hold on to a posted listing?
It is adviceable to contact vendors as soon as possible.

8.I noticed in your start up listings that you only have 1 vendor in a particular category, why?
As I mentioned in an earlier question, we only list businesses that provide good service.

Let me give you an example: In 1 major city in the Midwest, I researched 15 businesses in one category.and 14 of them had multiple complaints.I could only list 1 in that category. It's not uncommon.

Also, please remember the start up listings are a 'Start-Up' Introductory offer.

9. Is the Better Business Bureau the only place you get referrals?
No. Although we can research the Yellow Pages/Chamber of Commerce we would cross reference that name with your local Better Business Bureau site. We check for complaints, if the establishment is not a member or has no history with the Bureau, we note this for the client. It is then up to them to follow up on checking the references.

10. Will your site be introducing other prescreened referral guides?
At this time, selected cities have been listed. Additional listings will be announced.

11. My hometown is not listed, will more cities be available in the future?
Please see #10.

12.What is your 'personally tailored package?
The city of your choice, 20 categories and additional perks which includes a membership package,
monthly newsletter, and vendorzines/e-zine.

13. What exactly do you consider when packaging prescreened referrals?
We cater to the cautious consumer's conscience. When we list businesses we not only take into consideration the event (wedding), the goal (pursuing a career in the entertainment industry) and relocation. Although our introductory guides don't list ever vendor possible, it gives you idea of what the 'personally tailored' prescreened referral guide could look like.

We intend to provide our readers with substantial, insightful information, which will assist them with planning an event, pursuing a career, or relocating to a new city.
